Founded by those who loved Gillian, the Foundation honours her life and career by expanding access to maritime training and bursaries for under-resourced young people — with a focus on girls and young women who aspire to careers at sea. The Foundation partners with cadet programmes, SETAs and industry employers to fund practical training and placements.
